Houghton of Norwich, New York, born in Morrisville, New York, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Houghton and Alice Houghton (Webster); and his siblings, Robert Houghton, Jean Herran, Mary Mauck and Shirley Harp.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Roberts; his children, Andrea Weir (Stephen) of Millerton, PA, Robert Bruce Houghton of Memphis, NY and Teresa Houghton of Norwich, NY; his grandchildren, Samantha Weir, Lee Weir, Robin Weir and Luke Houghton; and his brothers, Jack Houghton (Dirinda) of Madison, NY and Carl Houghton (Patricia) of New Berlin, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (68 S Broad St, Norwich, NY 13815). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions in Bruce's memory may be made to a charity that assists children with disabilities.
