He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nassar and Nora Nassar (Haddad); his wife Joan Ward; and his siblings, Frieda Baddour (Ed), Joseph Nimey, Sr., Mitchell Nimey, Louis Nassar and Raymond Nassar (Connie).

He is survived by: his children, Carol Nassar and Robert Nassar (Elizabeth) of Norwich; his grandchildren, Matthew Nassar (Joy), Kristin Lumnah (Geoff) and Jamie Nassar (Chris Barner); his sister-in-law Joy Nassar; and also, LaVerna and Jim Miles. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
