He is survived by: his parents, Thomas D. Shearer and Ethel Gunter Shearer; his spouse Phyllis L. Jenison of Herkimer; his children, Thomas Shearer (Pam) of Alexandria, VA, Richard Shearer of Perth, NY, Daniel Shearer (Jennifer) of Annapolis, MD and Pamela Junquera (Steve); his grandchildren, Brian, Eric Junquera, Northville (Scotia), Daniel, Julia, Sophie Shearer and Megan Shearer of Alexandria; his sisters, Marilyn Green and Jean Snyder (Vernon); his brother-in-law Edward Jenison (Ruth); and his siblings, Margaret Anderson (Oscar) and James Shearer (Victoria). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
