He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifton G. Whitman and Mildred E. [Sweet] Whitman; his wife Linda; his children, Bonnie McClarren (Richard) of The Colony, TX, Keith Whitman (Jackie) of Edinburg, NY and Kasey Whitman (Kellie) of Ticonderoga, NY; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Zoey Whitman, Cameron, Collin McClarren, Anna, Sarah Whitman, Katirina, Alyssa and Brittany Palmateer; his great grandchildren, Emily Whitman and Dayton Palmateer; his niece Aubrey Allen; his nephew Kristoffer Page; his siblings, Sharon Sweet and Maynard Whitman; and his cousin Dan Warner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department & EMS.
