He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Rourke and Elizabeth Schneider O'Rourke; his brother Bob; his sons, Gary (Debbie) and Brian (Kim); and his daughter-in-law Veronica.

He is survived by: his brothers, Lawrence (Mona), Tom and John (Shirley); and his children, Barbara Tracy (Bill), Mike O'Rourke (Pam), Kathy Aird (Bruce), Tim O'Rourke and Rogers (Jim). He is also survived by many many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
