He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Edwards and Ethel G. Wilbur Edwards; and his siblings, Jay Edwards, Earl Edwards, Alta Winn, Elfleda Olmstead (DeDe) and Tressa Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Edwards; his sons, Toby Edwards (Beth) and Walter Edwards (Teresa) of Edinburg; his grandchildren, Alyssa Edwards (Jason Briskie) of Edinburg, Ashlee Weddell (David) of Mayfield, Jesse Edwards of Broadalbin, Shane Edwards (United States Army) of Edinburg and Nathan Edwards (Served) of Johnstown; his great grandchildren, Julian, Emma, Addilynn, Westlynn Briskie, Rayna, Rhenn and Rorri Weddell; his brother Bert Edwards of North Carolina; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Edwards of Broadalbin and Pricilla Edwards of Edinburg; and his pet Foxy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Company or the Edinburg Emergency Squad.
