He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Collar and Mary Collar; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Sherry A. Collar of Gloversville; his daughters, Tammy Purrington (JR) of Rome, NY and Deborah Shrey (David) of Winterville, NC; his brothers, Alexander Jr. (Carol Collar), Gary (Kathy Collar), David (Sue Collar) and Richard Collar of Scotia; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Zachary, Natawnee and Cheyanne. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
