He was predeceased by: his parents, Dayton Mallette and Philena Dedrick Mallette. He is survived by: his wife Ellen May Carpenter; his daughters, Susan L. and Nora J.; and his granddaughters, Kali Weinstein (Brendan) and Kendall Aitken.
