He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond T. Cavanagh and Kathleen O'Connor Cavanagh; and his wife Sandy Cavanagh. He is survived by: his children, Sean Cavanagh of Kings Park, NY, Erik Cavanagh (Christina) of Smithtown, NY and Ryan Cavanagh (Kaila) of Sandy Hook, CT.; his stepchildren, Richard Rosenberg (Allyson) of Scarsdale, NY and Laura Pomerantz of Centerport, NY.; his siblings, Patricia Kowalski (Roger), Irene Katz (Barry), Joseph, Raymond (Mary), Mary and Kathleen; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Ryan, Ethan, Owen, Olivia, Declan, Lyla, Taylor and Sophia. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces, and cousins.
