He is survived by: his children, Margaret Higgins (Richard), Barbara Fadel (Keith) and Katherine Scherer (Wilbur, Jr.); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy Higgins, Elizabeth Zelnick (Nicholas), William Scherer (Nicole Perkins), Meghan and Bryan Fadel.
In lieu of flowers of donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Northport, in memory of Robert would be appreciated.
