As Kathy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kathy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kathy leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Thomas Contegni; her children, Christopher Contegni (Elizabeth) and Laura McGreevy (Casey); and her grandchildren, Jack, Madelyn Contegni and Grant McGreevy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nolan Funeral Home, Inc. (5 Laurel Ave, Northport, NY 11768). A Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Neri Church (344 Main St, Northport, NY 11768). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. Philip Neri Cemetery (344 Main St, Northport, NY 11768).
In lieu of flowers, donations to The ALS Association (https://secure2.convio.net) or V.N.S. of Suffolk Hospice, in Kathy's memory would be appreciated.
