She was predeceased by: her spouse Albin. She is survived by: her child Dawn Komarek Mandzik (Mark); her grandchildren, Jove Mandzik, Teal Mandzik, Cassady Mandzik and Sage Kahn (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Zora Kahn, River Kahn and Naiyah Mandzik.

A motto that embraces Blanche, "Live life with gusto and remember to give back." Donations to Grinnell College.
