He was predeceased by: his wife Lorena "Reany" Okoniewski; his parents, Stephen Okoniewski and Pearl Okoniewski; and his sister Theresa Lauricella (Mario). He is survived by: his daughter Lorena "Lori" Franke (James); his grandchildren, Travis and Ella; and his friends, Arthur, Doris Krehan, Howard and Dorothy Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
