He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Heim and Helen Heim (Horgan); and his wife Erika Heim (Staub). He is survived by: his children, Amie (Derek Spitzer) and Thomas (Kate); his granddaughter Lucy Heim; and his siblings, John Heim, David Heim, Joanne Gilman, Anne Lewis, Mary Ferrerio and Judith Glaser. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
