He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Spencer (Miess); and his children, Karen Gebhart (David) and Gregory Spencer. He was also cherished by sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home (533 Meadow Dr, North Tonawanda, NY 14120).
