He is survived by: his wife Joanne Ernst; his children, Kimberly Ernst Robertson and John Ernst (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Lauren Robertson, Jack and Nolan Ernst; and his siblings, Raymond Ernst (Karen) and Mary Holevinski (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
