He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Gondek and Eleanor Gondek (Waszolek); his sons, Bruce, Gregg and Brian; and his grandchildren, Melissa and Geoffrey.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Gondek (Zeigler); his sons, Lance (Pamela), Lon (Melinda) and Steven Gondek; and his grandchildren, Lauryn, Tyler, Brendan, Trenton and Lana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice.
