He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Melissa Stange-Jaeger (Winkelmann); his daughters, Marilou (Chad Homan) and Melanie (Mark Warren); his parents, Marion Jaeger and Carl Jaeger; and his siblings, Eric Jaeger (Jean), Cindy Jaeger and Jan Ingerson. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and their children.
