She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Spence; her son Alex Spence, Jr.; and her brother Edward. She is survived by: her children, Michael, Gary Spence, Dennis (Amber), Sandra, David Brenon (Lori), Sharon Brown and Brenda Duff (late Daniel); and her siblings, Margaret Askey (late Henry) and George Horan (late Susan). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Karen may be made to Niagara Hospice.
