With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. McDonald of North Tonawanda, New York, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Joseph McDonald Sr.; his wife Carol Lee McDonald; his son Timothy Michael McDonald; and his sister Patricia Deemer. He is survived by: his children, David John McDonald (Angela), Daniel Joseph McDonald (Shelley) and Molly Ann Barnard (Larrie); his siblings, James McDonald and Mary Lyons; and his grandchildren, Sean Ryan McDonald (Katie), Joseph David McDonald, Garett Daniel McDonald, Jamie Ann D'Orazio, Collin Reid Barnard (Brandi), Timothy Michael Barnard (Ashley) and Ryan Wesley Barnard. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
