She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Jerla; her son Jeffrey Jerla; her parents, Raymond Hartman and Bernice Hartman; and her siblings, Kenneth Hartman and Janice Baldwin.
She is survived by: her children, Lanilee Korczynski (Mark) and Marrianne Jerla; and her grandchildren, Jakob, Kaylalynne, Michaela, Jason, Amanda, Nicholas and Brianna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Flowers gratefully declined memorials may be made in Joan's name to Niagara Hospice.
