He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester and Lois. He is survived by: his children, John Blevins, Sr., Sandra Blevins (Leah Mateczun), Jeffrey R. Kimball, Jr. and Robert A. Kimball (Jamie Miller); his sister Beth Nielsen (late Mark "Spike"); his grandchildren, John Blevins, Jr., Andrew Tyler Kimball, Madalyn Rae Kimball and Millie James Kimball; his niece Aria Nielsen; and his nephews, Ian, Brendon and Tyler Nielsen.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (156 Robinson St, North Tonawanda, NY 14120). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
