He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothea Hooper; and his brother Robert Hooper. He is survived by: his children, Holly Batt (late Scott), James Jr. Hooper (Susan) and David Hooper (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Jeremy Batt, Meghan Young, Leah Hooper, April Hooper, Andrew Hooper and Max Hooper; his great grandchildren, Teagan Batt, Rocco Batt, Nora Thurlow, Ellie Young and Henry Young; and his sisters, Irene Schaffer and June Chester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
