She was predeceased by: her husband George Marvin; her child Terry Dutchess; and her brother Manfred Merbitz. She is survived by: her close friend Walter Heilemann; her children, Ralph Blackmer (Sydney), Sandy Bowles (Robert), Jerry Cribbs (James Armitage), Iheide Mayes (Clifford), David and Irene Bucher; her children-in-law, William Dutchess and Cathy Bucher; and her sister Else Wieczorek. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many close relatives in Germany and all of her extended family.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Paul UCC or Niagara Hospice.
