He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Salm; and his brother Todd. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Barrett; his daughters, Lydia Barrett (Joseph Spina) and Karen Barrett (Marcus Harper); his grandson Joseph Gregory Spina; and his siblings, Tammy Starr, Scott Rozicki, Robert Rozicki (Nicole), Kenneth Rozicki (Krista) and Renee Rozicki. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He generously donated to several local organizations and enjoyed his career with General Motors for 23 years.
