She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Hawks and Roy Hawks; her sibling Anson Thomas Hawks; her daughter Denice DePaolo-Smith; and her daughter-in-law Jacqueline.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn DePaolo, Robert and Scott (Jacqueline); her daughter-in-law Beth DePaolo; and her grandchildren, Erin Smith, Ryan, Mitchell, Elena DePaolo, Nicholas DePaolo, Michael and Blake Fitzgerald.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice in Genny's memory.
