She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Gardei; her children, Sandra Brazier, Randy Gardei (Bonnie), Candi Bull (Terry), Tami DePriest, Jacqueline Owens (William) and George Gardei Jr.; her siblings, Betty, Shirley and Donald; and her stepbrother James. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
