He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kovacs and Betty Kovacs; his brothers, Don Kovacs and Irvin Kovacs; and his grandson Joshua Waliszewski.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kovacs; his children, Tina Harrington (Mike), Sherry Callahan (Karl), Sheila Heim (Rick) and David Kovacs (Fayla); his grandchildren, Eric, Melissa (Cory), Meghan (Stefan), Mykel, Heather (Aaron) and Adrian; his siblings, Gary Kovacs and Carol Kallin (Dean); and his aunts, Lorrie Schultz and Jeannette Roy. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
