He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Saj and Stanley Saj; his wife Marilyn Saj; his siblings, Patricia, Kenny, Daniel and Randy Saj; his son David Saj; his nephews, Ian and Timmy Saj; and his close friend Robert Rougeaux.

He is survived by: his brother Jimmy Saj (Margaret); his daughter Bette Coney (Dennis); his grandchild Madison; his children, Michael Britt, Tammy, Sandy and Laurie; his sister-in-law Janice Pease; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Elinger Saj; and his close friends, Rona Brodie, Diane Johnson-Jaeckel and Tony Manna. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
