With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Blanca Nelida Rodriguez of North Tonawanda, New York, who passed away on May 7, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Candido Leon-Melendez and Francisca Leon-Melendez; her spouse Eladio "Yayo" Rodriguez; her son Jose A. Gomez; and her siblings, Myrka (Gonzalez), Candida Rosin (Glosek), Carlos Leon and Jorge Leon.
She is survived by: her children, Debra M. Gomez-Welch (Robert Welch), Wanda Rosado (Nestor), Raymond E. Gomez, Bryan A. Gomez (Leisamarie) and Lawrence Gomez; and her siblings, Victor Carrasquillo of Weston, FL, Candido Leon (Nancy) of Buffalo, NY and Gloria St. John of Atlanta, GA.. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
