He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly B. "Bev"; and his sisters, Shirley Crandall and Aberta Billy. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Volz-Nitzke (Chip) and William A. "Billy" Volz (Beverly); his siblings, Donald Volz (Donna) and Molly Beaubiah; his grandchildren, Cody Nitzke, Alicia Nitzke, Jacob Nitzke, Genevieve Volz and Allison Volz; and his great grandchild Aria Belle Nitzke.
