With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William D. Truax Sr. of North Syracuse, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Truax. He is survived by: his close friend Theresa E. Waite of North Syracuse, NY; his children, William D. Truax (Lynda Truax Neuman) of Glendale, CA and Elizabeth Baker (Larry) of Liverpool, NY; his granddaughter Magaena Truax; his half-siblings, David Truax (Ann) of Raileigh, NC and Frances Georgianna (Joe) of Delray Beach; and his children, Karen Podolak of Newport News, VA, Elaine Seager (Russ) of Westvale, NY, Doreen Fox (Keith) of Clay, NY, Russell Seager (Chelsey), Jaclyn Horn (Ryan Knapp), Daniel Horn (Scott) and Rutledge Horn.
