He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his children, Thomas Jr. and Vicky; and his parents, Reuben and Clara.

He is survived by: his children, Theresa Coutu (Bobby), Genette Brush, Monique Rogers (Bryant), Andrea Hewitt, Jessica Nichols (Andrew) and Timothy; and his siblings, Bonnie Callis, Darlene Snell and Charles Hewitt. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
