He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Edwards and Helen Derby Edwards; and his sons, Luther Edwards Jr. and Dorian Smith. He is survived by: his wife Vertice Ann Robinson Edwards; his children, Jeff Edwards (Susan) of Baldwinsville, NY, Nicole Nimmons Carl, Bernice Edwards of Syracuse, NY and Derek Smith of Indiana; and his siblings, June Rucker of Santa Rosa, Florence Brewer, Helena Edwards of Raleigh, NC and Nelson Edwards (Toni) of Syracuse, NY.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
