Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leona Latour of North Syracuse, New York, born in Paul Smiths, New York, who passed away at the age of 95, on April 15, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Abare and Nellie Abare (LaMay); her daughter Katherine M. Whisher; and her siblings, Margaret McClatchie, Theresa Stockwell, Eugene, Donald, Lawrence, Sydney and Kenneth Abare.
She is survived by: her children, Donna L. McGinnis of Saranac Lake, Ruth A. Keach (John) of Cicero, James A. Latour III of Punta Gorda, FL and David L. Latour (Lisa) of Brewerton; her sister Charlotte Bredlow of Belaire, MD; and her grandchildren, Thomas McGinnis, Heather McGinnis, Pamela Dwyer (Matt), Jessica Hehl (Erik), Heath Ivie (Angela), James Latour IV (Jessica), Jacque Latour and Allyson Latour. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
