It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Myron Schaefer of North Syracuse, New York, born in New York, New York, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Myron Schaefer and Irene Schaefer (Woodcock); his wife Gracemary Durstewitz; his sisters, Barbara Bosco and Frances Tynan; and his children, Michael Schaefer (Coleen), Patrick Schaefer (Loreena) and Kathleen Murdock (Tom). He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
