He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Epolito and Mary Epolito (Nanno); his sons, Rocco Epolito and James M. Epolito, Jr.; his siblings, Joseph Epolito, Angeline Scarfino, Lawrence Epolito, Anita Rose, Rose Tucci, William Epolito, Thomas Epolito, Adeline Liquori and Agnes Barry Smith; and his close friend Matthew MacCollum.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Jane Holmes (Alan); his grandchildren, Kimberly Kronenberg (Ken) and Jeffrey Holmes (Michele); his great grandchildren, Ryan M. Vacchiano, Alaina, Dylan Kronenberg, Claire, Anna and Max Holmes; and his close friend Margaret MacCollum. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
