It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward E. Sobotka of North Syracuse, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on May 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Esther Rapp; his son Shawn Sobotka; and his brother Frank Sobotka. He is survived by: his children, Fredric Rapp, Diana Montclair, Michelle Andrus and Heather Sobotka (Brandon Woods); his great grandchildren, Jyll Clisson (Braedyn Baitsell), Tiffany Andrus (Leeya Avery), Jeremy Andrus (Cameron Andrus), Jessa, Larae Montclair (Callum Montclair), Tara Andrus (Nadia Rodriguez), Christopher Rapp, Daney Rapp, Isaiah Jones, Brandon Woods and Ethen Woods; and his sisters, Linda Wood, Donna Froio and Pamela Helmer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
