He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ireland and Lillian Ireland (Varah); and his siblings, Mary Cappelleti, Elizabeth Parsons, Fred Ireland and John Ireland.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Ireland (Galante); his nephew Nick Cappelletti; and his friends, Laura, Kenny Richards and Helen Dutton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
