He was predeceased by: his father Donald H. Swanson; and his grandfather Emil. He is survived by: his mother Lily Ungleich Swanson; and his siblings, Donna Steele of Bridgeport, NY and Bruce Swanson (Juel) of Camden, NY. He is also survived by several nephews, a niece.
