He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Turturro and Katherine Turturro (Pavone); his son-in-law Nicholas Fischetti; and his brother George Turturro. He is survived by: his wife Arlete Cardoso; his stepdaughters, Adalia Rosamilia of North Salem, NY and Amanda (Chris Simone) of Bedford, NY; his grandchildren, Nicholas Fischetti, Jr., Christopher Simone Jr., Alyvia Simone and Alianna Simone; his great grandchild Brooklyn Fischetti; and his brother Ronald (Carol Turturro) of Coram, NY..

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
