Caves of North Rose, New York, born in Lyons, New York, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Caves and Jeanette Pierson Caves; and his siblings, Brad Caves and Cheryl Caves. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Dutcher-Caves; his daughters, Kristin Caves of Baldwinsville and Kelly Caves of Oswego; his siblings, Dennis Caves (Sue) of North Rose, Robin Caves (Brenda) of North Rose, Todd Caves (Gie) of North Rose and Renee Winter (Mike) of North Rose; and his grandchildren, Jack and Emily. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“God Bless. Childhood Friend. Took me for my first, and only horseback ride, on my own horse, when I stayed the nite at the Caves House. Had some splendid times thru High School, Had a wonderful eve in his tree home when Mark Castor was in town. I Always had a smile after every time we would cross paths in later years. Jon had a soul that I just wanted to hug every time we crossed paths..I do hope we meet again. Peace”
