He is survived by: his wife Penny Gardner Hayes; his children, Haley Hayes (Rick Hewitt) of Sodus, Nathan Hayes (Sabrina Brown) and Elijah Hayes (Tara Camacho) of North Rose; his siblings, Barton Paul Hayes (Linda), Matthew Hayes of North Rose, Shannon Hayes, Bonnie Lapp of North Rose, Elizabeth Meade of North Rose, SueAnn Buzzelli (John) of Walworth and Joann Pierce (David Becker) of North Rose; and his grandchildren, Camilla Hewitt, StarLynn Hayes, Issac Hayes, Owen Ayotte, Braxton Hayes and Emelia Hayes.
