Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert A. Coyne; and her parents, Joseph B. McNichols and Mary E. Stafford McNichols. She is survived by: her children, Linda (Kenneth), Kevin (Maureen), Christopher (Kim), Brian (Nicole) and James (Brooke); her grandchildren, Allison (Matthew), Lauren (Danny), Shannon (Ryan), Matthew, Ryan, Colin, Grace, Jack, Noelle, Hope, Jillian, Brian, Donovan, Roxanna and Patrick; and her great grandchildren, Amelia and Maxwell.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (20 Hicksville Rd, Bethpage, NY 11714). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. James R. C. Church (80 Hicksville Rd, Seaford, NY 11783).
