He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Patrick's Church; his children, Kristen Scharf-Best (Jeremy) of Saratoga and Matthew Scharf (Elisabeth) of Southport, NC; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Best, Anthony Best and Cameron English; his sisters, Linda Davis of Lockport, NY, Patricia Lundin (Skip) of Crossville, TN, Jean Welch (Philip) of West Chazy, NY and Mary Scharf of Malone, NY; and his pet Sanctuary. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
