It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley R. Simpson (North Lawrence, New York), born in Lyon Mountain, New York, who passed away on February 25, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Cook and Mildred Cook (Cayea). She is survived by : her spouse Winfred E. Simpson, Sr.; her children, Winfred Simpson, Jr. of Bloomingdale, Joy Sebring of Massena, Stephen Simpson, Jody, Ann Simpson of North Lawrence, Mary Ellen "Cissy" and Todd Hayes of Louisville; her siblings, Beverly Wilson of Winthrop, Marlene Murphy of Oswego and Jacqueline Diles of Seattle; her son Kyle Simpson; and her siblings, Lou Griffin, Dorothy Cook, Ronald, Kenneth, Leonard and Alan. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
