It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas V. Richards (North Lawrence, New York), born in Moira, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Richards and Marjorie Richards (Riggs); his sons, Victor D. Richards and Bruce A. Richards; his siblings, Beverly Gillette, Vernon 'Bud' Richards and Jack Richards; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Hourihan, Donald Jenkins and Donald 'Chick' Wilson; and his nephew Donald Wilson Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Mabel H. Jenkins; his children, Kathy Hubbard (Wayne) of Bangor, Karen Salls (Steven) of North Lawrence, Pamela Johnson (Terry Joanette) of Colchester, VT., Steven Richards (Dana) of Harker Heights, TX. and Lisa Wheeler (Tim) of St. Regis Falls; his siblings, Wanda Boyce (Lyle) of Burlington, VT., Audrey O'Reilly (John) of Delray, FL., Janet Ellis (Jerry) of Visalia, CA., Betty Mackey (Larry) of Macedon, Etta May Mackey (Bill) of Baldwinsville, Constance Hourihan, Bill Gillette of Gates and Gary Richards (Deanie) of Glendale; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Rutherford, Teresa Wilson and Sally Jenkins. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
