He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne Janes and Helen Geitner Janes; and his sibling Thomas Janes. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Adamczak Janes; his daughters, Rebecca Lee of Beaufort, SC and Jamie Susan Janes of Hudson, FL; and his brothers, Michael Janes of Attica and David Janes (Joyce) of Lake City, MN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
