He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Griffin of Smethport, PA; his parents, Harold F. and Mary P. Zaehringer (Carroll); his children, Benjamin Zaehringer of Houston, TX, Melody Zaehringer (Josh Sroka) of Burnt Hills, NY and Tiffany Zaehringer of Newtonville, MA; and his siblings, Ellen Zaehringer (Jay Gach) of Long Beach, NY, Susan Bednarek (James) of Cornish, ME and William Zaehringer (Marcy) of Tonawanda, NY. He was also cherished by in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
It was John's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
