He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Wixson and Audrey Carson Wixson; and his brother Larry Wixson. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Zink Wixson of North Java; his daughters, Lisa Dalke (David) of Ellicottville, NY and Sherry Silka of Allegany, NY; his stepsons, Charlie Heeb of Warsaw, NY and Chad Heeb (Teresa) of Castile, NY; and his siblings, Terry Wixson, Dave Wixson, Roger Wixson, Mike Wixson and Lori Hall. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
